John Stanley was an American actor, born in England. Between 1947 and 1949, he played Sherlock Holmes in 78 episodes of the Mutual and ABC radio show Sherlock Holmes (radio 1947-1949) with Alfred Shirley, Ian Martin, George Spelvin as Dr. Watson.
