4. Upsetting Kentucky

In 2009, West Virginia’s basketball team started its journey toward a national championship. In every huddle, they’d break by shouting “national champs!” This team was built with grit – exactly what you’d expect from head coach Bob Huggins. The team was led by senior forward Da’Sean Butler and a team filled with length and athleticism.
