What a great couple of years it's been for Canadian guitarist, singer and songwriter Lindsay Ell. Since the release of her 'The Project' album she's toured the world, possibly more than any other musician in Country music - this year alone she's been to Europe, Japan and now to the UK as well as holding down her own schedule in the USA. With a collaboration with Brantley Gilbert ('What Happens in a Small Town') steadily rising to the top of the charts and a nomination for ACM 'Best New Female Vocalist' under her belt too it's time to think about new music.

In this 25 minute interview, Lindsay talks with warmth, grace, humour and intelligence about the past couple of years. She responds with openness and honesty to questions about her music, her personal life and her recent health scare. It is, without doubt, one of the best interviews James has ever conducted - which is mainly down to Lindsay's lovely personality and willingness to connect with her fans - and that is why he wanted you to hear the interview in it's entirety, rather than read words on a screen. By doing it this way you'll hear her warmth, her passion and her humour first-hand.

There's no intro this week, no pre-amble - we go straight into the interview. Enjoy the ride!
