This week we're looking at a week defined mostly by moments of political theater:
- The Senate is expected to take up a formal vote on new voting rights legislation tomorrow which Republicans plan to block.
- The January 6th House Investigation is getting great coverage but moving at a glacial pace as Trump is working to block the committee on multiple fronts.
- Fights over majority minority district maps moving forward with lots of uncertainty and conflict brewing over more contentious districts.
- And finally, as we continue to see the historic worker shortage driven by the combination of pandemic responses and outrage over economic inequality, labor unions have been flexing their muscles.
