Paradox: "a seemingly absurd or self-contradictory statement or proposition that when investigated or explained may prove to be well founded or true." What do we do when we come across a paradox in Scripture? Avoid it? Discard it? What if instead we chose to study it? When we study it, we allow the Holy Spirit to enlighten us with a deeper understanding of any supposed contradictions.  In this message, we address the claim that Jesus, the Prince of Peace, did not come to bring peace, but division.
