He explains that a priest must see his journey as exactly that of Christ’s. A priest will find answers to his mission and legacy if he anchors it in the Gospel accounts of our Lord. Strength becomes a reality ultimately through the Cross, and each priest must see the love of God through that sacrifice. In these ways a priest will reflect the love of God secured in the life of Christ with whom he identifies.
